LAKE GEORGE CAMPSITE has thirty-seven spacious, level, partially shaded RV and tent sites nestled in fifteen acres of virgin pine or on the wooded shores of beautiful Lake George.

Our family-founded campground was established in 1960.  Over the past forty-five years we have continued to modernize our camping, fishing and boating facilities, while working to retain a friendly rustic northwoods atmosphere at all times.

Please consider Lake George Campsite in your future camping, fishing, and travel plans.  We accommodate tents and R.V.'s of all sizes and types.  We have convenient pull-thrus, electric and water hookups at all sites, a dump station, and a full bath house. There is a recreation room with games for all ages, a newly remodeled bar overlooking the lower campground and dock area, and a small convenience store with gifts and fishing essentials.  There are camping sites located in the upper campground in virgin timber, referred as the "Pines area", or at the lower campground referred to as the "Lake area."  Each site has a picnic table, bench, and fire ring. We offer special weekly, monthly, and seasonal rates.

There is a larger playground with swing set, slide and lots of sand in the upper  (Pines area)campground and a smaller playground, geared more toward the younger campers, with climbing/playhouse module and play sand at the lower (Lake area) campground. We do not offer structured activities at our campground, but there is plenty to do and see for all ages.  Bikes are allowed and fish can be caught from the docks.

Lake George is well known as a great area fishing lake for all types of fish!  We have an abundance of healthy pan fish including perch, crappies, and bluegills as well as walleye and both small and large mouth bass. There are reasonably priced rental row boats (with or without small fishing motor), and a paddle boat.  Slips are available at the docks if you wish to bring your own boat, at no extra charge and there is plenty of room for storing boat trailers either at your site or near the docks and fish cleaning area.  The well-marked beach is small but has a gradual decline and is suitable for swimmers of all ages.
